Rap music has been surrounded by controversy since its very beginnings. Many critics and sceptics have attempted to bring the genre down for many different reasons such as it being ‘too aggressive or it ‘glorifying violence’. There are definitely 2 ends of the spectrum here, and while much of the constant criticism could be unfair, we also must understand their viewpoint.
